I’m thankful for Sundays. For days set aside to worship, to reflect, to gather with other worshipers. To hear God’s Words proclaimed in songs, teaching, and preaching. I’m thankful I live in a society where it is not illegal to go to church on Sunday.
Hebrews 10:24-25: “Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another–and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
It’s Sunday. It’s time to be thankful, and time to meet together to spur one another to good works, and to encourage each other. It’s Sunday. It’s time to get our worship on.
