I’m thankful for Christmas music. For the joy of it. For the wonder of singing about a Baby born in a manger. For the knowledge that this Baby would save the world from sin.
I’m thankful for songs like “Joy to the World,” and “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing,” and “Away in the Manger,” and “Silent Night,” and “Mary Did You Know?” We are free to sing songs like this at this time of year. Free to sing of Jesus and His love and Sacrifice. Free to spread the news of His coming. Free to worship at the Nativity Scene.
Let’s take advantage of it. Let’s be thankful for the message of Jesus found in Christmas music. Sing your hearts out.
